Dr. Amol Arora
Dr. Amol Arora was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He attended Youngstown State University for his undergraduate degree and graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University with his MD degree in 2003. He subsequently moved to Columbus for residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital and completed this program in 2007. Dr. Arora was privileged to join Dr. Marc Parnes and Dr. Cliff Raymond in what is now Eastwind Women’s Health in August of 2007. He was specifically drawn to the familycentered approach this practice offered to its patients. He has been in the Westerville based group since then, maintaining affiliations with Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital and OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. At Mount Carmel, he has previously served as Chair of the Ob/Gyn Department from 2011-2018. He is currently Medical Director of the Women’s Health Service line for Mount Carmel. Dr. Arora is also co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Rhyme, a Columbus based company working to address the significant issue of prior authorizations in healthcare. Dr. Arora has special interest in the areas of Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), caring for patients with complicated pregnancy histories, minimally invasive surgery (including Da Vinci robotic surgery and Acessa (laparoscopic ultrasound guided radio frequency ablation of fibroids that preserves the uterus)), and the management of menopausal and perimenopausal conditions. The accolades he is most proud of are the award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Procedures in 2007 and Mount Carmel Excellence in Nursing Awards, Physician of the Year in 2015. Dr. Arora lives in Westerville with his wife, three children, and two dogs. In his free time he is an avid supporter of Cleveland sports teams, enjoys playing golf, and spends time with his family.
Dr. Britta Buchenroth
Dr. Britta Buchenroth, a lifelong resident of Ohio, graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. She then attended the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University, earning her MD. She completed her Ob/gyn residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in 2017. She joined Dr. Arora and Dr. Rheaume at Eastwind Women’s Health in January of 2019. Just like Drs. Arora and Rheaume, she is affiliated with St Ann’s Hospital and Riverside Hospital.
She is interested in all aspects of women’s health, but especially obstetrics, preventative care, and empowering women to make the best decisions for their specific healthcare needs. She gains the most joy in spending time with each patient and getting to know them personally.
Outside of work Dr. Buchenroth enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter, and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
Dr. P. Shayne Rheaume
Dr. Shayne Rheaume was born and raised in Southern Illinois. He attended Southern Illinois University for his undergraduate education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology. He continued at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for his MD degree, graduating in 2008. He moved to Columbus for residency at The Ohio State University, completing residency in 2012. He joined Eastwind Women’s Health in August of 2012. He is affiliated with St. Ann’s Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital, doing deliveries, operations, and teaching resident physicians. He is involved within the physician administration at St. Ann’s hospital, and received the St Ann’s Service Excellence award in 2023. His areas of interest include minimally invasive surgical procedures(Including the DiVinci Robot and Acessa solution for uterine fibroids), vaginal birth after cesarean, and the treatment of menopausal symptoms. Dr. Rheaume lives with his wife and two daughters, and currently spends free time bicycling, working out, and keeping up to date with any technology gadgets.
